About the position

The Vice President of Manufacturing Operations at Integra LifeSciences is a pivotal role responsible for leading the manufacturing operations within the Tissue Technologies division. This position involves developing and implementing strategies to achieve high standards of quality, customer service, safety, and financial performance across multiple manufacturing facilities. The role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure compliance with regulations and to drive operational excellence, while also focusing on team development and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing operations and quality strategies for the Tissue Technologies division.
  • Build a high-performance culture and team, empowering direct reports and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure the division meets or improves on budget, cost, volume, quality, and efficiency targets (KPIs).
  • Provide strategic direction and communication of quality performance across the division.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product quality and the quality management system.
  • Identify, manage, and execute strategic projects across multiple stakeholders.
  • Enable the development of multi-year strategic site master investment plans.
  • Direct and supervise plant managers across all manufacturing sites.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Manage financial budgets, including headcount, expenses, and capital.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 18+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or operations; 5+ years in strategic leadership or multi-site leadership.
  • Six Sigma and/or Lean Certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills to develop strategy and mentor teams.
  • Experience with Total Quality Management systems and FDA regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with experience in process improvement.
