About the position

The Vice President of Merchandising at True Classic is a leadership role focused on driving innovation and renovation within the product assortment. This position is responsible for developing merchandising strategies that attract new customers and maximize their lifetime value. The ideal candidate will leverage consumer behavior insights and data-driven decision-making to enhance product offerings and lead a high-performing product team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a high-performing product team, ensuring alignment with company culture and values.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to align product development with overall business strategy.
  • Lead the enhancement of current product offerings based on consumer feedback, sales data, and market trends.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including sunsetting underperforming products to optimize the product portfolio.
  • Implement processes and frameworks to ensure that product decisions are made using robust consumer data and insights.
  • Identify and evaluate new product opportunities that align with True Classic's brand and growth objectives.
  • Lead the development and successful launch of new products, ensuring they meet consumer needs and are positioned for success in the market.
  • Determine which new products should be scaled based on market performance and strategic fit.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading product teams within a consumer-centric, high-growth environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in product lifecycle management, including renovation and innovation.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • A deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
