About the position

The Vice President of Network Development & Clinical Growth at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is responsible for leading business development and strategic initiatives across the clinical enterprise. This role involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical business initiatives, including new campus development, affiliate network expansion, and clinical joint ventures. The Vice President will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and ensure alignment with the institution's overall business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical network strategies to address growth opportunities, risks, and gaps.
• Develop and implement corporate and business development strategies to drive overall business growth.
• Plan and execute strategies for developing new campus locations and/or expanding existing campuses.
• Guide and oversee activities to support relationship management and service delivery in the clinical network.
• Evaluate potential investments in new clinical activities or services and develop business cases for proposed clinical investments.
• Lead and manage a team of professionals in corporate/business development and clinical growth functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Public Health, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 13 years of experience in business development and healthcare strategy in a provider environment.
• Minimum of 8 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Extensive experience with transactions and healthcare valuation processes.
• Proven track record in network growth and development, including collaborations and partnerships.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in an academic medical center, particularly in oncology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, and various analytics tools.
