About the position

The Vice President of Accounting & Operations at PRISM is a senior executive role responsible for overseeing all accounting functions and operational duties within the company. This includes managing payroll, subcontract administration, funding, 401K administration, and human resources. The VP will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and lead a small team to facilitate various financial transactions, while also partnering with senior management to provide insights on financial strategy and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform all accounting functions for the company.
• Manage payroll, subcontract administration, funding, and 401K administration.
• Oversee human resources operations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory registration and tax requirements.
• Review and negotiate subcontract and service agreements.
• Process internal payroll using Quickbooks and ADP.
• Handle expense processing and payments.
• Oversee and manage audits.
• Coordinate work and resources to meet reporting and contract deadlines.
• Work with insurance brokers to manage company benefits and renewals.
• Ensure security clearance compliance.
• Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred or CPA.
• Experience in accounting, tax, financial analysis, reporting, filing, and compliance.
• Experience in bookkeeping, contract administration, funding, payroll, and business operations.
• Ability to manage a small team for various financial transactions.
• Strong understanding of compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to partner with senior management on financial strategy.
