About the position

As the Vice President of Actuarial Capabilities and Business Insight at Prudential, you will lead a team of actuarial and business analysis professionals, focusing on the design and development of a data and reporting infrastructure that enhances business insights and performance. This role requires collaboration across various functions within Group Insurance and staying updated on technological advancements in the actuarial field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of accurate and reliable data sources, metrics, and reporting.
• Act as an advisor to the Group Insurance leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
• Ensure effective utilization and management of data to maximize business performance.
• Lead modernization efforts of actuarial processes through technology.
• Provide technical leadership on complex actuarial projects in a cross-functional environment.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Actuarial teams to execute advanced analytics strategies and foster model development.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in actuarial science.
• Manage and lead a team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications such as FSA or ASA.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven leadership abilities and experience in data management and modernization efforts.
