About the position

The Vice President (VP) of ASC Development and Operations at IntraHealth Group is a pivotal role responsible for implementing operational best practices and supporting the onboarding of new centers. The VP will serve as an interim administrator and provide regional leadership while overseeing various special projects across different geographies. This position is designed to execute a pipeline of operational priorities that align with the strategic goals set forth by the Chief Administrative Officer, aimed at advancing IntraHealth Group's operations and strategic priorities. Key areas of focus include organic growth, physician engagement, partnership management, operational optimization, and cost management initiatives. The VP is expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, safety, compliance, and enhancing the patient experience, in line with IntraHealth Group's operational expectations. This role will involve supplying interim leadership and overseeing the operations, finance, and partnership management of facilities that require corporate oversight and assistance. The VP will be responsible for guiding the overall development of the center(s) and executing initiatives to meet performance goals. Additionally, the VP will facilitate a seamless transition of leadership to permanent leaders and support the integration and onboarding of new facilities into IntraHealth Group, while implementing special projects and other operational priorities. This is an exempt position that often requires work outside of normal business hours, including travel.

Responsibilities

  • Implement operational best practices and support onboarding of new centers.
  • Serve as interim administrator and provide regional leadership.
  • Oversee special projects in various geographies.
  • Execute against a pipeline of operational priorities aligned with the Chief Administrative Officer.
  • Drive organic growth and physician engagement initiatives.
  • Manage partnership relationships and operational optimization efforts.
  • Lead cost management initiatives to enhance financial performance.
  • Supply interim leadership and oversee operations, finance, and partnership management of facilities.
  • Support the integration and onboarding of new facilities into IntraHealth Group.
  • Facilitate the transition of leadership to permanent leaders.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum five years' experience in healthcare business development and operations, finance, and business consulting.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving operational performance and developing growth strategies.
  • Strong people management skills with a focus on talent development and retention.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and formal presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with C-level healthcare partners, physicians, employees, and patients.
  • Strong critical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analytical and presentation purposes.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to articulate key business drivers and performance metrics.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude for financial budgeting, reporting, and analysis.
