About the position

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan, we are dedicated to creating vibrant, thriving Club locations that serve as community hubs of engagement and activity. Our mission is to ensure youth leave the Clubs being career, start-up, and homeowner ready and proficient. We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Club Operations to join our leadership team and help us elevate our clubs to new heights of excellence. The Vice President of Club Operations is a key leadership role responsible for supporting and guiding the Executive Directors of our club locations. This role ensures financial alignment, operational efficiency, and the highest standards of safety and compliance across all clubs. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision, hands-on leadership, and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive club environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and resources to the Executive Directors of each club location, empowering them to achieve operational excellence.
  • Oversee and manage the budgets of all club locations, ensuring financial strategies are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Mentor and develop Club Executive Directors, fostering an environment of continuous leadership growth and goal achievement.
  • Conduct regular safety and compliance audits in partnership with the Director of Health & Safety to ensure each club adheres to the highest operational standards.
  • Monitor organizational goals and support club leaders in achieving and surpassing their targets.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies across all clubs to enhance productivity and member satisfaction.
  • Ensure the quality and fidelity of club operations, maintaining the organization’s reputation for excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability among the club operation team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within a multi-location operation, preferably in the Club, fitness, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and financial strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop senior leaders.
  • Ability to multi-task and pivot priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in safety and compliance standards.
  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive club environment.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 per year.
