About the position

The Vice President of Core Systems Operations at Align Credit Union is responsible for overseeing the daily deposit operations, focusing on technology integration to enhance operational efficiency and member experience. This role involves managing various operational functions, leading a team, and ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist the SVP of Deposit Operations in managing all deposit operational aspects of the credit union.
• Develop and implement deposit operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and member satisfaction.
• Manage operational functions including ACH, Wire, Digital Banking technologies, and fraud processes.
• Lead and mentor the deposit operations team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments for seamless integration of systems and applications.
• Execute technical requirements for job automation systems such as SMA OpCon and Fiserv platforms.
• Evaluate and implement software solutions to support deposit operational goals and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in deposit operations.
• Identify and mitigate deposit operational risks through effective risk management practices.
• Enhance member experience through technology and streamlined processes.
• Address and resolve member issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
• Implement member feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service delivery.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge in application software and system integration within the financial services industry.
• Strong operational management experience in deposit operations.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Fiserv banking core systems and job automation systems.
