About the position

The Vice President of Customer Operations is a key leadership role responsible for engaging with hospital presidents and local leaders to communicate R1's performance in meeting their KPI expectations. This position involves traveling to the West Coast region to connect with customers, facilitate process change management, and educate leaders on R1's key deliverables. The role requires collaboration with internal executives to relay customer feedback and drive impactful changes, all while thriving in a matrixed environment focused on customer relationship management and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hospital presidents and local leaders to align operational objectives with performance goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Monitor performance KPIs and ensure budget expectations are met in accordance with contract MSA.
  • Collaborate across functions to achieve growth goals and drive operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions to achieve growth goals.
  • Ability to translate operational concepts into measurable results and design meaningful data analytics efforts.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead transformations and inspire team buy-in.
  • Broad understanding of revenue cycle operations within a hospital setting.

  • Ability to guide counterparts through difficult transitions to new processes, technologies, workflows, or situations.
  • Establish yourself as a peer and trusted partner for customer counterparts.
