About the position

The Children's Hospital Association (CHA) is seeking a strategic leader for its Information Technology team to spearhead data transformation initiatives. This role involves integrating advanced technologies and aligning digital strategies with the organization's goals to enhance children's health and well-being across member hospitals. The position requires a visionary approach to develop a comprehensive data transformation roadmap, analyze customer journeys, and lead organizational change efforts to foster a digital-first culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction and execution of data transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data transformation roadmap that aligns with the organization's goals.
  • Analyze and map the customer journey to understand its impact.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in digital strategies.
  • Develop and communicate a digital transformation strategy and manage a digital transformation portfolio.
  • Leverage emerging technologies (AI, IoT, data analytics) to enhance customer experiences.
  • Lead organizational change efforts to foster a digital-first culture.
  • Coach, mentor, and engage in the professional development of staff.
  • Identify opportunities for digital innovation and growth.
  • Ensure data security and privacy in digital initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business administration, or a related field (master's preferred).
  • 10 years' experience in Information Technology and Big Data.
  • 8 years' experience in health care database management.
  • 2 years' experience in AI strategy development.
  • 2 years' experience in BI data visualization.
  • Demonstrated ability to align digital initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Strong public speaking and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse resource base and interact with individuals at all levels.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis methods.
