Pay $150,000 - $165,000 a year Job type Full-time Full job description Vice President (or Senior Director) of Development Highly Regarded Social Services Nonprofit New York City (Hybrid) Salary: $150,000 to $165,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience Terrific senior level fundraising position with a highly regarded social services nonprofit in New York City with a budget of approximately $100 million. The position will be a Vice President (or Senior Director), based on experience. The VP/SRD will partner with the Chief Development & Marketing Officer to develop and implement effective development strategies to increase fundraising efforts from various sources including individuals, corporations and foundations. The position will also manage the full fundraising lifecycle for a portfolio of high-level donors and prospects. The VP/SRD will manage and mentor a team of four fundraisers. Qualified candidates should have approximately 10+ years of relevant fundraising experience, including time in a management role. Bachelor's degree is required. Excellent relationship building skills and a demonstrated track record of securing gifts are essential for this role. The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $165,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience. This position operates on a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities: In partnership with the Chief Development & Marketing Officer, develop and implement fundraising strategies to support a $2.6M fundraising goal Provide moves management for a portfolio of high-level donors and prospects; ensure that there is an active pipeline of prospects Heavy focus on relationship building from all major fundraising sources (i.e., individuals, corporations and foundations) Lead and support campaigns and partnerships with corporate partners Steward donors with effective fundraising communications Supervise Development team in proposal and report development Collaborate with the Marketing, Program, and other teams as needed for fundraising initiatives Serve as a member of the organization's senior management team Cultivate a workplace culture that embodies diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging Manage and mentor a team of fundraisers Qualifications: Approximately 10+ of years of related fundraising experience, including time in a management role Bachelor's degree required Demonstrated track record of securing gifts and building strong relationships with donors and prospects Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset Experience using a donor CRM Strong connection to the organization's mission (personal or professional) and the ability convey impact to donors Excellent communication skills Equal opportunity employer.
