About the position

The FESCO Group is seeking a Vice President of Digital Marketing to lead our digital marketing initiatives and drive the growth of our eCommerce business, social media presence, and B2B Beauty Category sales. This role is critical as we aim to enhance brand and product awareness while generating significant traffic to our websites, including direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand sites. The VP of Digital Marketing will report directly to our Senior Management Team and CEO, playing a pivotal role in shaping our long-term digital marketing strategy and executing short-term advertising initiatives. In this position, the VP will be responsible for setting comprehensive digital marketing strategies utilizing various methods and instruments such as brand websites, Amazon tools, PPC, email marketing, and social media platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Google/YouTube. The role requires the creation of a unique social strategy that encompasses both paid and organic efforts, aimed at driving meaningful engagement, increasing brand awareness, and fostering significant audience growth. The successful candidate will lead the creative strategy, guiding the team in developing innovative and edgy content that reflects our brand's voice and aesthetic. This includes developing monthly content calendars that align with key product launches and culturally relevant moments, as well as proposing real-time content based on social media trends. Continuous improvement of content concepts will be achieved through performance metrics analysis, ROI evaluation, and competitor landscape assessment. Additionally, the VP will optimize the user experience on our websites and assist in landing page creation while researching consumer purchase behavior to inform strategies. This is a fully on-site role located in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. Please note that we do not have the budget to relocate candidates or sponsor work visas for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Set digital marketing strategies using all necessary methods and instruments (e.g. brand websites, Amazon tools, PPC, emails, social media, SEO Optimization, Google Analytics, podcasts, vlogs, blogs).
  • Create a unique social strategy (paid/organic) across all digital platforms to drive meaningful engagement and increase brand awareness.
  • Lead the team in developing creative content that embodies the brand's voice and aesthetic.
  • Develop monthly content calendars inclusive of key product launches and branded content series.
  • Propose real-time content based on social media trends and relevant conversations.
  • Continuously improve content concepts by analyzing performance metrics and evaluating ROI.
  • Optimize the user experience on the company's websites and assist with landing page creation.
  • Research and track consumer purchase behavior.

Requirements

  • BA in digital marketing, marketing, advertising, or related discipline.
  • At least 5+ years of recent and expert knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and brand marketing within the consumer electronics industry.
  • Demonstrated experience and success in Consumer Products and 'Hard Goods'.
  • Experience in brand marketing analytics and using web analytic tools.
  • Strong project management skills, managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical and business information effectively.
  • High degree of motivation and ability to work well both individually and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with social listening and digital analytics.
