The Vice President of Employee Benefits (EB) Operations is a newly created and key leadership role at Patriot Growth Insurance Services, a growth-focused national insurance services firm. This position will partner with the Patriot Leadership Team and Regional Presidents to support and execute the strategic direction of the group benefits and individual health business lines, including the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Medicare. The role is critical in ensuring the seamless delivery of benefits services to clients and the successful integration of new agencies during mergers and acquisitions (M&A). This fully remote position requires travel for 2-3 trips per month to partner agency offices and the corporate office. In this role, the Vice President will develop and implement operational strategies for both group benefits and individual health that align with the company's objectives and regulatory requirements. They will lead the operational due diligence process for EB agencies during M&A activities, assessing risks and opportunities to inform decision-making and evaluating operational capabilities, financial health, and cultural fit. The Vice President will also support the integration of EB agencies post-M&A, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with the company's standards and practices, with a focus on a positive integration experience for the agency. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Vice President will work closely with other leadership team members to support organic growth and maintain and improve margins through innovation and operational effectiveness. They will also collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams to optimize benefits operations and deliver exceptional service to agencies. The Vice President will drive innovation in benefits administration and delivery through technology and process improvements, maintaining a deep understanding of the EB market, ACA coverage, and Medicare to guide strategic planning and decisions. Additionally, they will establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of EB operations and identify areas for enhancement.
