About the position

The Vice President of Engineering will play a crucial role in leading the engineering team of a well-funded, women-led genAI startup focused on optimizing research and development, storytelling, and product launches. This position requires a highly technical individual with experience in scaling B2B SaaS startups, who can effectively manage both software development and client relationships as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure successful product development and delivery.
• Architect and design scalable software solutions using modern technologies.
• Engage with clients and investors to communicate technical aspects and project progress.
• Mentor and guide team members to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a B2B SaaS startup environment.
• Strong technical expertise in Python, Django, React, and Postgres.
• Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS.
• Familiarity with OAuth, LLM, AI, and ML technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor engineering teams.
