About the position

The Vice President of Field Operations at JSC Systems is responsible for overseeing the northern territory operations, which includes North Carolina, South Carolina, and Southeast Georgia. This senior-level role focuses on leading installation operations, managing profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities, growing revenue, and ensuring the success of the company's branches. The position requires collaboration with various teams and senior executives to meet company goals and client expectations, while fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead branch operations, collaborating with Branch Managers and Project Managers.
  • Communicate with Senior Executives to meet and exceed company and client expectations.
  • Allocate personnel, materials, and tools within assigned branches.
  • Ensure technicians and subcontractors have necessary certifications and training.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks and address client concerns promptly.
  • Manage P&L and achieve forecasted contribution margins for multiple territories.
  • Implement and manage programs to meet financial targets.
  • Foster a culture of high performance and operational excellence.
  • Set clear expectations, coach field leaders, and measure results.
  • Oversee technical staffing, subcontractor engagement, and training.
  • Conduct monthly project delivery and profitability reviews.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior operational role for a commercial construction contractor, preferably within the commercial low voltage contracting/systems integration industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective policies and procedures.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
