About the position

The Vice President of Global Medical Operations at Antech Diagnostics is responsible for leading the strategic development and ongoing success of pathology, radiology, and consultation services. This role focuses on executing business strategies across North America and international markets while ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence through associate engagement and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning and integration across pathology, radiology, and consultation teams.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of veterinarians and operations professionals.
  • Manage the global P&L for medical operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Leadership team to implement best practices and streamline processes.
  • Partner with Commercial, IT, and Operations teams to drive aligned initiatives and technological advancements.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and professional meetings to promote services and drive business growth.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new methodologies and technologies.
  • Develop and execute workforce planning strategies to ensure optimal staffing and engagement.
  • Champion a culture of integrity and collegiality within medical operations.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent.
  • 15+ years of relevant leadership experience in veterinary medicine and operations.
  • Strong business acumen and P&L oversight experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a matrix organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Board Certification(s) in veterinary medicine.
  • Experience in digital pathology implementation.
