About the position

The Vice President of Global Product & Omni-Channel Merchandising is a key leadership role responsible for driving the product strategy and execution on a global scale. This position focuses on shaping product architecture, assortment, and line plans that cater to the needs of healthcare professionals (HCPs). The role involves collaboration with various cross-functional teams to ensure brand growth and profitability while aligning the product portfolio with brand values. The Vice President will also lead the merchandising team across e-commerce and physical stores.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global merchandising strategy that aligns with house brands and target markets.
  • Align on the forward-looking product architecture strategy with CPO.
  • Create a product lifecycle management strategy to maximize product lifespan and profitability.
  • Develop a comprehensive seasonal life cycle plan for products in partnership with Design.
  • Curate and manage the product assortment based on HCP demands and market trends.
  • Implement pricing strategies that optimize margins while remaining competitive.
  • Own selecting, managing, and pricing products along with vendor relations.
  • Conduct continuous market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product creation, marketing, operations, finance, and other departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, or a related field
  • Proven experience (15+ years) in product & merchandising leadership roles
  • Experience working within retail stores, e-commerce, DTC and wholesale channels
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth
  • Passion for the HCM, Omni-Channel industry with a deep understanding of customer preferences and trends
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to position yourself as a collaborative and trusted business partner
  • Ability to establish strong relationships at all levels throughout the organization and cross-functionally.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $200k to $245k based on experience.
