About the position

As the Vice President of HOA Operations, you will lead, mentor, and guide a talented team, focusing on client and associate satisfaction. Your role involves developing team capabilities, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You will oversee financial management, support HOA boards, and participate in business development activities to drive success for both clients and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
  • Collaborate with boards and internal finance team to develop and manage budgets.
  • Oversee and manage regional financial operations to achieve financial goals.
  • Assist the HOA board in setting goals and making informed decisions.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the company and community.
  • Assist with long-term planning and community development strategies.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws impacting HOA operations and advise the board.
  • Recruit, hire, and train team members to support business operations.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive succession plan.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues in the industry.
  • Attend board and committee meetings to provide input and participate in decision-making processes.
  • Participate in business development activities and support sales efforts.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of successful management and supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated sound decision-making and critical thinking abilities.
  • Skilled in training and mentoring individuals.

Nice-to-haves

  • CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) or PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager) designation preferred.
  • A college degree preferred or equivalent experience in Management.
