About the position

The Vice President of IT & Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Powers Health is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the IT systems and services within the organization. This position requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in healthcare technology, capable of managing complex IT environments and driving innovation to enhance operational efficiency and patient care. The CIO will lead the development and execution of IT strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives, ensuring the integrity and security of IT systems and data while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the IT team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategic direction and operational management of Powers Health IT systems and services.
  • Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with Powers Health's overall business objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring efficient delivery of IT services.
  • Lead the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to optimize cost and performance.
  • Ensure the integrity, security, and availability of IT systems and data.
  • Participate in hiring, retention, and evaluation of IT staff, ensuring ongoing education and training opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and consultation to the management team on IT systems and applications.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in managing complex IT environments in healthcare settings.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare technology and emerging trends in healthcare IT.
  • Experience in developing and executing IT strategies and policies.
