About the position

As the Vice President of Marketing at Loomis US, you will be a visionary leader responsible for driving our marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness, accelerate lead generation, and optimize the customer experience to drive business retention. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, you will spearhead a talented marketing team as well as work cross-functionally with marketing counterparts in Europe to achieve key objectives and propel the company's growth trajectory. Your role will involve developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives, ensuring that Loomis maintains its competitive edge in the market. In this position, you will manage a diverse range of responsibilities, including overseeing the branding efforts to maintain brand compliance and integrity both internally and externally. You will be tasked with managing up to 30 projects simultaneously, collaborating with marketing teams, agencies, and freelancers to ensure timely and effective execution. Your leadership will be crucial in generating inbound leads for the sales team through various channels such as media placements, paid search, social media, and industry events. You will also provide creative direction for all marketing projects, ensuring brand consistency and effectiveness across all platforms. Additionally, you will direct content development for various marketing materials, including blogs, articles, press releases, and sales collateral. Your role will also encompass overseeing the development of sales enablement materials and managing media planning and digital advertising campaigns. You will coordinate video and photo shoots, direct social media efforts, and manage email marketing campaigns aimed at lead generation and customer retention. Furthermore, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce communications for both employees and customers, enhancing the overall internal and external communication strategy. As a key member of the executive team, you will also be responsible for promoting Loomis as an employer of choice, managing recruitment marketing campaigns, and overseeing the management of trade shows and customer events. Your strategic oversight will extend to website maintenance and project management, ensuring that Loomis's online presence is robust and engaging. You will also support global initiatives by collaborating with counterparts in Europe, providing feedback on creative assets, and sharing best practices. This role requires a strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of leading a dynamic marketing team to achieve ambitious goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategy for Loomis US to grow brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Maintain brand compliance and integrity inside and outside of the company.
  • Manage up to 30 projects at a time through marketing team, agencies, and freelancers.
  • Generate inbound leads for the sales team through various marketing activities.
  • Provide creative direction for all projects ensuring brand consistency and effectiveness.
  • Create themes for ad campaigns and manage projects through the team.
  • Direct content development for blogs, articles, press releases, and sales collateral.
  • Oversee development of sales collateral and support the Franchise Development program.
  • Plan media placements with industry publications and produce deliverables.
  • Coordinate with video agencies to develop video assets for communication efforts.
  • Direct social media efforts and manage online brand reputation.
  • Partner with consultants to develop digital advertising campaigns.
  • Create email marketing campaigns for lead generation and customer retention.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for employee communications.
  • Manage employer branding and recruiting marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee management of trade shows and customer events.
  • Maintain Loomis.us and work4loomis.com, updating content regularly.
  • Create deliverables based on internal requests and goals.
  • Educate executive leadership on growing influence on LinkedIn.
  • Support launch of new products and services.
  • Develop press releases and other news-related content as needed.
  • Manage company store inventory and offerings.
  • Manage budget and five direct reports, submitting invoices and compiling reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is strongly preferred.
  • Eight years of progressive marketing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel roughly 25%.
