The Legend is You. We are seeking a Vice President of Marketing & Brand Strategy to join our dynamic team at Legend Senior Living. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely and strategically with the SVP of Sales & Marketing to align organizational goals and priorities. The Vice President of Marketing & Brand Strategy will lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, including communications and public relations initiatives across all company channels. This role involves driving the creation and deployment of marketing collateral and services to all Legend Senior Living residences, while leading a talented team to align marketing efforts strategically with all departments at both strategic and operational levels. Your responsibilities will include effectively managing priorities and time, crucial for scaling operations as we acquire new properties and expand our portfolio. You will spearhead efforts to scale marketing operations and enhance the Legend brand, along with developing new brands within our family. These responsibilities also include cultivating strategic partnerships with vendors to align the Legend brand with their services, and mastering budgets and ROI across various marketing channels. Additionally, you will play a key role in building our marketing technology stack, aligning sales and marketing efforts, and driving both creativity and measurable results. Leading a talented team, including graphic designers and digital marketers, you will strategically oversee a portfolio of 60+ communities, contributing to our industry leadership and growth. Responsibilities

  • Drive alignment of marketing goals with sales expectations to optimize occupancy rates and revenue growth across all Legend Senior Living communities.
  • Strategically plan and execute comprehensive marketing programs tailored to enhance brand positioning and market presence.
  • Oversee all aspects of company-wide marketing, branding, communications, and public relations activities to uphold and strengthen the Legend brand identity.
  • Direct editorial design, production, and distribution efforts, ensuring alignment with corporate directives from the CEO and SVP of Sales and Marketing.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing, communications, and PR strategies to maximize impact and engagement.
  • Manage media relations, coordinating inquiries and maintaining regular communication to bolster positive exposure and brand reputation.
  • Provide strategic guidance, training, and support to Residence Directors and Sales Directors to optimize marketing, communication, outreach, and PR efforts, driving measurable results.
  • Ensure comprehensive marketing research is conducted and guide the development of annual and quarterly marketing plans to achieve strategic objectives and enhance community-specific outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years prior experience in leading corporate marketing strategy and department team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite required, working knowledge of Adobe design applications preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to anticipate needs, sales presentation, follow-through and ownership on assignments.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or similar discipline; or equivalent experience.
