About the position

The Vice President of Marketing at Caesars Virginia is responsible for overseeing all marketing initiatives and managing the VIP and General Marketing teams. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The VP will also coordinate with various departments to enhance brand messaging and customer engagement, while leading efforts to grow revenue through innovative marketing programs and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day execution of all marketing initiatives and management of the property VIP and General Marketing teams.
• Collaborate with marketing functional leads to define the property marketing strategy.
• Lead on-site marketing teams to ensure flawless execution of marketing strategies.
• Maintain accurate accounting of current and future marketing expenses for financial reporting.
• Coordinate with corporate brand, advertising, and PR teams to communicate brand messages.
• Manage overall property communication surrounding promotions and brand building.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans involving events and promotions.
• Direct a diverse salesforce to motivate and develop casino hosts for exceptional customer service.
• Prepare annual business plans and budgets to target and grow revenue from executive host business channels.
• Coordinate strategic alliances with reputable business partners to enhance brand awareness.
• Prepare contracts with vendors for various services and entertainment.
• Identify and prioritize marketing opportunities and emerging trends.
• Work closely with the General Manager to maximize marketing effectiveness.
• Develop and implement new special events and promotions.
• Analyze and evaluate direct marketing programs and develop new strategies as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Advertising, or related field.
• Eight years of experience in management and administration of multiple marketing functions within a casino/hotel operation.
• Five years of senior-level marketing experience.
• Extensive experience with property marketing within the CET network.
• Ability to execute flawlessly and serve as a senior leader to VIP and Marketing teams.
• Must be able to obtain a gaming license from the Virginia Lottery.
