About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing initiatives and drive brand growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in digital marketing, advertising sales, and performance marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can inspire teams, analyze market trends, and leverage data to enhance our marketing efforts across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive national marketing strategies that align with the company's goals to increase patient acquisition, improve referral channels, and support service expansion across different regions.
  • Lead market analysis to identify growth opportunities, assess competitive landscapes, and shape positioning strategies.
  • Oversee branding initiatives to maintain a consistent message and image for the organization across all marketing channels.
  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing national marketing team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic vision.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Business Expansion, VP of Business Development, and other key stakeholders to support national growth and market entry strategies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and HR, to develop cohesive marketing programs that support patient engagement and retention.
  • Manage external agencies, vendors, and consultants to optimize marketing campaigns and branding efforts.
  • Oversee the creation and management of multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, social media, etc.) to boost patient acquisition and referrals.
  • Drive the development and optimization of SEO/SEM strategies, email marketing, social media engagement, and paid advertising campaigns.
  • Implement lead generation and nurturing campaigns in alignment with referral and conversion goals, ensuring effective outreach to potential patients, healthcare providers, and partners.
  • Work closely with regional teams to develop local and national referral programs that strengthen relationships with healthcare providers, specialists, and referral sources.
  • Drive marketing efforts targeted at physicians and clinics, ensuring clear communication about the benefits of referring patients to the organization.
  • Define and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for all marketing initiatives, including patient acquisition rates, referral conversion rates, ROI of marketing spend, and brand reach.
  • Prepare and present performance reports and updates to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Shape and elevate the brand's public profile through media relations, press releases, speaking engagements, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Develop content marketing initiatives such as blogs, case studies, and white papers to position the company as a leader in neurological and medical care.
  • Develop and manage the national marketing budget ensuring the high ROI on all marketing expenditures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • A master's degree (MBA, MHA, etc.) is preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare marketing, with at least 15 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing national marketing efforts within a healthcare company, preferably in neurological services or a medical services company.
  • Proven success in developing multi-channel marketing strategies that drive patient acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Experience managing large marketing budgets and optimizing ROI on marketing expenditures.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a national team.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare industry regulations, including HIPAA, and experience ensuring all marketing practices comply with regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, CRM systems, SEO/SEM tools, etc.).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
