About the position

The Vice President of Marketing will lead the marketing team of a high-growth, private equity-backed home services company. This strategic role involves enhancing marketing playbooks, resource allocation, and developing lead-generating marketing plans to support revenue targets. The VP will also oversee brand strategy, digital marketing efforts, and team management while ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently evaluate and enhance Marketing Playbooks to elevate execution and outcomes
  • Strategically allocate resources - budget and human capital - to successfully carry out integrations
  • Draft and execute company communications
  • Take a 'roll up your sleeves' approach to supporting internal and external partners with execution
  • Develop lead-generating marketing plans to support each market or acquisition, as needed, to reach revenue targets
  • Partner with Sales department to maximize marketing leads
  • Oversee digital marketing partner(s) to maximize retainer and budget
  • Generate and evaluate reporting and propose strategy adjustments, where needed
  • Thoughtfully evaluate and execute appropriate brand strategy for platform and acquisitions, inclusive of branding, timing, communication and marketing approach
  • Oversee creative design to ensure it remains on brand for the company and its subsidiaries
  • Develop social media strategy and oversee execution
  • Ensure all entities are a positive reflection of the brand, including but not limited to online listings, website, social media
  • Onboard, train and manage Marketing team members and vendors
  • Create a positive, organized and high-standard environment
  • Report on behalf of platform marketing to the Board of Directors
  • Actively participate in meetings and contribute valuable strategies and insights as the Marketing leader
  • Set quarterly and annual goals for the department
  • Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department
  • Ensure our marketing approach and decisions reflect our mission of looking out for the people in our communities - employees first, customers always
  • Partner with HR leader to develop culture-driving programs and strategies, including events, award programs and more

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Financial acumen
  • Proven track record as a successful VP of Marketing
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Private equity-backed or high-growth M&A home services experience preferred
  • Ability to thoughtfully evaluate data, think critically and draw conclusions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic and a results-driven mindset
  • Communicate effectively
