About the position

The Vice President of Marketing for Elekta Inc. is responsible for leading market development and marketing strategy in the Americas region. This role focuses on driving new orders, profitability, and market share growth for the product solutions portfolio through effective marketing operations, sales enablement initiatives, and collaboration with regional sales and marketing teams. The VP will also identify growth opportunities in specific market segments and ensure that the voice of the customer is reflected in the company's strategic plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead market development and marketing strategy in the Americas region.
  • Drive achievement of new orders, profitability, and market share growth targets.
  • Develop and execute market development and growth strategies.
  • Identify and develop growth opportunities in specific market segments and revenue streams.
  • Lead the Regional Marketing team in customer segmentation and targeting.
  • Collaborate with global business line management for core product marketing assets.
  • Manage deal escalation and implement pricing strategy with sales operations.
  • Guide sales teams in segmentation and targeting of key market segments.
  • Develop market expertise and insights to translate trends into actionable opportunities.
  • Drive go-to-market marketing plans for new product releases.
  • Manage market and competitor dynamics and provide strategic guidance.
  • Design and deliver sales activation and enablement tools and training.
  • Analyze customer needs and communicate success criteria to business partners.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Manage marketing communications and ensure compliance with brand guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a clinical or business-oriented field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of marketing experience in a relevant field.
