About the position

The VP of Marketing at RaySecur is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the organization's marketing initiatives. This position focuses on developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive revenue growth, and strengthen brand equity. The VP will lead a high-performance marketing team, manage the marketing budget, and collaborate with various departments to align marketing efforts with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that align with organizational goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive dynamics to craft data-driven strategies.
  • Design and oversee marketing collateral and campaigns that engage the target audience.
  • Plan and execute trade shows and customer events to enhance market penetration.
  • Utilize analytics to create compelling content and optimize campaign performance.
  • Ensure website content is optimized for search engines to enhance online visibility.
  • Develop and implement a video content strategy that aligns with marketing objectives.
  • Manage and allocate the marketing budget to maximize ROI and achieve financial objectives.
  • Track marketing expenditures to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Elevate and maintain brand equity through strategic positioning and consistent messaging.
  • Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to enhance team capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align marketing strategies with business goals.
  • Partner with external agencies to ensure high-quality execution of marketing projects.
  • Identify new market opportunities and industry trends to expand market reach.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and foster long-term loyalty.
  • Employ data analytics to track campaign performance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of marketing/communication experience in hardware and software as a service industry.
  • 5+ years of supervisory/management experience leading a project, process, or team.
  • Advanced experience in planning and executing digital and traditional marketing strategies.
  • Extensive experience in brand management, product development, and market research.
  • Excellent negotiating skills and experience managing vendor/agency relationships.
  • Proven experience in creating and presenting project proposals and reports.
  • Advanced experience in marketing analytics and reporting on ROI.
  • Highly collaborative with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent project management and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of federal and state marketing laws and regulations.
