We are looking for an experienced Vice President (VP) of Marketing to direct and oversee our Marketing department. The Vice President (VP) of Marketing is a marketing expert who takes responsibility for the overall marketing results of the company. You will design, implement, and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals. The incumbent oversees marketing strategies and efforts in order to strengthen the company's market position and achieve desired business goals. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that the Marketing department's activities contribute to Sanmina's long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for annual marketing plan, strategy and team
  • Identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing strategies/materials
  • Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads
  • Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports
  • Gather competitive and customer data and identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Work closely with the sales department and business units/divisions to align sales and marketing strategies
  • Manage marketing budget and expenditures
  • Build relationships with media, stakeholders through creative PR strategies and upgrade social media presence
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the executive leadership
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company's objectives
  • Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counter-strategies

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Marketing and Communications experience. Contract Manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
  • Experience in brand development, style guides, communications, public and investor relations
  • Experience in creating a meaningful strategy to develop employee engagement and communications campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics
  • Solid knowledge and experience with ABM, ABX
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
