About the position

The Vice President of Marketing will lead global sales and business development efforts in the semiconductor industry, focusing on Wi-Fi SoC products. This role is crucial for the commercialization of the world's first 802.11ah (Wi-Fi HaLow) SOC chipset solution, particularly in the US and North America. The position requires a strategic leader with a strong background in marketing and business development, aiming to diversify revenue streams and enhance market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Diversify revenue streams through global sales, particularly in the US and China.
  • Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by organizing daily work schedules.
  • Adjust sales presentations based on market trends and forecasts in the wireless connectivity marketplace.
  • Research existing and potential dealer volumes to focus sales efforts.
  • Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keep management informed with activity and results reports, including daily call reports and territory analyses.
  • Monitor competition by gathering information on pricing, products, and delivery schedules.
  • Recommend changes in products and services based on competitive developments.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
  • Maintain professional knowledge by attending conferences and reviewing publications.
  • Provide historical records by maintaining sales records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of business experience with increasing management responsibility.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and sound judgment.
  • Experience in strategic planning, marketing, and international business.
  • Financial skills including budget development, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Results-driven with proven accomplishments in sales and marketing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical ability for planning and achieving revenue goals.
  • Demonstrable skills in product management and process improvement initiatives.
