About the position

The Vice President of Marketing is a strategic leadership role within a rapidly growing medspa network, responsible for driving high-level marketing initiatives and managing a talented team. This position focuses on enhancing brand presence across multiple locations, developing comprehensive marketing strategies, and fostering customer engagement and loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Architect a comprehensive marketing plan aligning with company growth, customer engagement, and brand visibility goals.
  • Interpret market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to adapt strategies, optimize opportunities, and manage challenges.
  • Guide the execution of impactful, innovative marketing campaigns to increase sales and foster loyalty.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, including a Digital Marketing & Partnerships Manager, Social Media Coordinator, and external Paid Ads agency.
  • Collaborate with key departments, such as Operations and Product Development, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with executive leadership to share progress, insights, and strategy refinements.
  • Oversee a cohesive content strategy across email, social media, website, and in-store displays.
  • Develop a content calendar that aligns with launches, promotions, and events for consistent messaging across channels.
  • Analyze content performance to enhance engagement and optimize ROI.
  • Utilize customer insights to define segments and craft targeted marketing plans tailored to unique customer needs.
  • Deploy customized email and text campaigns to boost engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value.
  • Manage and optimize all paid media, including SEM, social, and out-of-home ads, ensuring they meet both budget and performance targets.
  • Partner with the Paid Ads agency to refine strategies, track performance, and adjust as needed.
  • Recommend budget allocation across channels, driven by performance insights and campaign goals.
  • Create and manage a strong affiliate program, partnering with platforms like Share-A-Sale.
  • Launch and maintain a referral marketing program to encourage customer referrals and track campaign success.
  • Oversee the marketing strategy for our skincare line, including positioning, messaging, and launch plans.
  • Manage the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) platform, optimizing user experience and SEO through Shopify.
  • Collaborate with the product team to develop compelling product descriptions, images, and promotional materials.
  • Set KPIs for marketing efforts and report progress to senior management regularly.
  • Leverage data analytics tools to track customer behavior and optimize marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct campaign post-mortems to refine future approaches.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in a full-time marketing role
  • 5+ years leading brand marketing or brand management
  • 5+ years in digital marketing (SEM, SEO, Social Media)
  • 3+ years in the wellness, beauty, cosmetics, or skincare industry
  • Strong writing skills
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and Meta campaigns
  • Experience with Klaviyo and Shopify platforms
