The position is responsible for directing the overall operations and staff of the Marketing department, developing and executing a Strategic Marketing Plan, ensuring effective control of Marketing results, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the overall operations and staff of the Marketing department.
  • Develop and execute a Strategic Marketing Plan including marketing reinvestment, direct-marketing, advertising, public relations/community relations, and entertainment.
  • Ensure effective scheduling while maintaining labor costs and achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Prepare, monitor, and adhere to budgets, reporting concerns to Executive Management/GM.
  • Promote and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with company standards.
  • Control Marketing results and take corrective action to meet objectives within budgets.
  • Assess and react to the competitive marketplace regarding marketing strategies.
  • Work with IT department to ensure resources are available for programs.
  • Maintain expertise with company Brand programs and systems.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and report potential issues to Executive Management/GM.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university required, with preference for focus in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of progressive experience in a senior Marketing role with direct responsibility for revenue generation.
  • Prior experience in the gaming industry preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and knowledgeable in Marketing software systems.
  • Ability to understand and analyze Budget statements and P&L Statements.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive approach to issues.
  • Excellent employee relations skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent and literate in English.
  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
