About the position

The Vice President of Marketing at SROA Capital is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at driving growth in the self-storage business. This role involves strategic planning, brand management, and budget oversight to enhance market share and revenue. The VP will leverage data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns and ensure consistent branding across all channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan aligned with the company’s overall business objectives and growth targets.
  • Identify market opportunities and design digital marketing strategies to enhance market share and drive revenue growth.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.
  • Develop and execute overall lead generation and digital promotional marketing strategy to drive conversions, including SEO, SEM, Social, and Affiliate Marketing.
  • Produce extensive reporting on all marketing channels performance to measure effectiveness and find opportunities to diversify channels.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the company’s brand identity and positioning in the market.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Monitor expenses and evaluate the ROI of marketing activities.
  • Manage additional projects that advance the Marketing department’s strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in a senior leadership role in marketing.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, MS Office, Power BI.
