About the position

The Vice President of Marketing at Florida Victorious is a pivotal role focused on enhancing brand awareness and participation within one of the largest NIL organizations in the country. This position requires a creative thinker with a strong drive to innovate and lead marketing strategies that support Gator student-athletes. The VP will oversee subscription revenue growth, manage creative assets, and execute impactful marketing activations for fans and corporate sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and execute the marketing strategy for Florida Victorious.
• Manage and grow subscription revenue and related marketing efforts.
• Oversee creative strategy and execution for all marketing assets including video, graphic, digital, and print.
• Develop and manage social, digital, and email media strategies.
• Plan and execute in-person and virtual events such as tailgates and player meet & greets.
• Design and coordinate student-athlete activations for corporate sponsors and fan events.
• Communicate and coordinate with reporters, podcasts, influencers, alumni, and UF/UAA employees.
• Oversee digital assets including the website and social media platforms.
• Develop ambassador marketing and affiliate marketing strategies.
• Manage merchandise strategy and execution.
• Hire and supervise new marketing support staff.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of relevant experience in marketing or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience in planning and executing events and activations.
• Experience managing social media accounts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative critical thinker with a keen eye for design.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to lead in a growing industry.
