About the position

The Vice President of Marketing at Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies across traditional and digital platforms. This position focuses on enhancing the company's brand, optimizing market positioning, and driving growth through effective marketing initiatives. The VP of Marketing will oversee all marketing efforts to ensure a cohesive strategy and execution across various channels, while also mentoring a team of marketing professionals and collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive traditional marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Identify new opportunities for market expansion through strategic partnerships, industry events, and other traditional marketing channels.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging and ensure effective communication of the company's value proposition through all marketing materials.
  • Oversee the development of marketing collateral, including brochures, print ads, digital ads, and promotional materials.
  • Lead efforts to elevate the company's presence at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer-facing events.
  • Mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including sales, product, and operations teams, to support marketing initiatives.
  • Drive customer engagement through direct mail campaigns, product showcases, and other face-to-face marketing events.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies for print, media buys, and traditional advertising campaigns.
  • Lead the development of targeted marketing campaigns to drive awareness and sales growth through various advertising channels.
  • Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and online advertising.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about competitor activity, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in traditional marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing successful offline marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the construction or distribution industry is a plus.
