About the position

We are pleased to announce the relocation of our corporate headquarters to Greenway Plaza's Phoenix Tower in Houston's Upper Kirby neighborhood. The Vice President (VP) of Marketing is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Perry Homes marketing initiatives, ensuring strong branding and relevancy in the markets. The VP of Marketing will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive lead generation, increase brand awareness, and enhance customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the residential homebuilding industry, a strong track record of success in marketing leadership roles, and the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing marketing team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that align with the company's goals and objectives. The VP will lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the achievement of departmental goals and individual development. This role also involves overseeing a diverse team of creative, digital, operational, and sales support functions. Building strong relationships with field marketing leaders and collaborating to achieve company goals is crucial. The VP will oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, events, and other relevant platforms. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as sales, Customer Experience, IT, and finance is essential to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts across the organization. The VP will build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including digital advertising agencies, media outlets, influencers, and other strategic partners. Monitoring and analyzing marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership, and making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement are key responsibilities. The VP will manage the marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure optimal ROI on marketing investments. Conducting market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies is also part of the role. The VP will develop and steward the Perry Homes brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and visual representation across all marketing collateral, websites, and communication channels. Staying abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and technological advancements to identify new opportunities and innovative marketing approaches is essential. The role frequently requires completing projects on very short notice with extreme time constraints while maintaining a high level of decorum and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Marketing, Communication, or Business preferred.
  • Requires at least 6 years of relevant senior marketing and management experience.
  • Proven track record of successful marketing management and strategic planning experience.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Polished presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical business approach to measure effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Current, valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
