About the position

The Vice President of Marketing will lead the marketing department at Peach State Truck Centers, focusing on developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role demands a dynamic leader with extensive experience in marketing leadership, particularly within the automotive or heavy-duty truck industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing to produce robust lead generation.
  • Grow social media followings.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
  • Manage the marketing department staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Respond to customer feedback, ensuring that customer insights are integrated into marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Work closely with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports to the COO and other stakeholders.
  • Manage public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and crisis communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Experience in the automotive or heavy-duty truck industry is highly desirable.
