About the position

The Vice President of Operations and Strategy at Lineage Care Group is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing operations and strategic initiatives within the organization. This position collaborates closely with the CEO and senior leadership to drive the organization's mission, enhance its culture, and improve retention and growth of staff. The VP will also manage organizational development within the Human Resources Department and ensure alignment with the company's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the CEO in operations at The GreenField Campus/Niagara Lutheran Health System and Schofield care.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership team to plan key strategies and goals that align with the organization's mission.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance the entities' culture and improve staff retention and growth.
  • Design and implement programs that promote change management and align with organizational objectives.
  • Manage the organizational development function within the Human Resources Department.
  • Identify areas of weakness and opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  • Research industry and market best practices in long-term care and human resources.
  • Coordinate and participate in company-wide meetings to communicate results and discuss operational changes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a health-related field.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience managing staff in various professions.
  • Experience with contracts, population health, and Human Resources.
  • Solid understanding of the continuum of care is preferred.
  • Strong leadership ability and willingness to supervise professional and nonprofessional personnel.
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in labor relations and negotiations in both union and non-union settings.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet applications, and HRIS software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare operations.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in healthcare.
