About the position

The Vice President of Operations and Development at EIHAB Human Services NJ is responsible for overseeing the overall functioning of the organization's services in New Jersey. This role involves ensuring that all departments and programs are responsive to client needs, compliant with regulations, and continuously improving. The VP will work closely with the CEO and the Executive Management Team to lead the organization, assess resource needs, and develop strategies for performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Promote and educate others about the Mission of EIHAB Human Services NJ.
• Participate as a member of the Executive Management Team and assist the CEO with overall leadership.
• Oversee all aspects of EIHAB's programs and departments to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Establish and work towards annual goals and objectives for program maintenance and development.
• Continuously assess the needs of clients and programs, incorporating feedback from various sources.
• Ensure appropriate client admissions based on safety and benefit from services.
• Participate in the development and management of the annual budget for departments and programs.
• Ensure staff have the necessary education, experience, and competencies for their roles.
• Make periodic reports to the Board of Trustees as directed by the CEO.
• Confer with management team and stakeholders regarding program strengths and weaknesses.
• Establish relationships with public and private organizations to enhance client services.
• Represent EIHAB at public meetings and events as needed.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of management experience in human services.
• Seven years of experience working in human services, with three years working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license in New Jersey with a good driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
