About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to oversee our clients' operational activities and drive efficiency and growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading successful operations within the electrical space. This position will be based in the Northern California area and will have 200-300 field team members reporting into it. The role requires a leader with experience managing and running operations with an overall revenue of $120-125 million. The Vice President of Operations will play a critical role in shaping the operational strategy and ensuring that the company meets its objectives in a competitive market. This position demands a strong focus on operational excellence, strategic planning, and effective team leadership to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize operational processes to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Successfully lead and execute all sales and operational initiatives
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives
• Oversee project management activities to ensure timely completion of projects
• Work closely with General contractors to communicate project goals
• Provide senior leadership and guidance to the operations team
• Drive business development efforts to expand market presence
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and partners

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management at a senior level preferably in electrical or construction
• A minimum of five years' experience working in senior leadership roles
• Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills
• Excellent project management abilities
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Ability to negotiate effectively and build strong partnerships
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred
