About the position

The Vice President of Operations at NorthStar Energy Solutions, LLC will lead and oversee all operational aspects of the Gas Distribution division. This key leadership role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring project success, and managing resources to meet both short-term and long-term business goals. The VP will collaborate with senior leadership, clients, and internal teams to develop strategies, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations for the Gas Distribution division, ensuring efficient execution of all projects.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to drive growth and improve profitability.
• Oversee project management, resource allocation, and performance metrics to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards across all operational activities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational strategies with overall business goals.
• Manage relationships with key clients, vendors, and stakeholders to foster strong partnerships.
• Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous process enhancements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to support company objectives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the gas distribution or utility sector.
• Previous experience as a general foreman or superintendent in gas distribution or a related field is a plus.
• Proven track record of leading large teams and complex projects.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L responsibility.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
