The Vice President of Operations at Magnificat High School plays a crucial role in supporting and implementing the school's mission. As a key member of the School's Leadership Team, this position is responsible for advancing the strategic objectives of the school by providing leadership across all operational functions. The individual will have broad experience across various business functions, including strategic development and planning, budgeting, business analysis, financial reporting, and information systems. The Vice President will set strategic goals and objectives to meet the evolving needs of the organization while ensuring alignment with the Mission and Values of Magnificat High School. The role also involves collaboration with the Vice President of Mission to integrate the school's mission and values into policies, procedures, and employee programs. The Vice President will work closely with the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging to foster an equitable and inclusive community that respects the diversity of all students and employees. Building strong relationships and employing a restorative approach in interactions with students, faculty, staff, guardians, and families is essential to address operational needs effectively. In terms of finance, the Vice President will coordinate and direct financial planning, budgeting, procurement, and investment activities, overseeing the development and administration of the operating and long-term budget. The role includes providing transparent financial reporting and planning to build trust among stakeholders, managing the school's endowment, and ensuring effective financial aid and scholarship program administration. Additionally, the Vice President will lead human resources initiatives, ensuring sound employment policies and equitable processes for hiring, termination, and compensation. Facilities management is another critical aspect of this role, where the Vice President will develop and maintain the master plan for the school's facilities and grounds, overseeing all operations related to maintenance, safety, and security.
