Retirement Unlimited Incorporated is seeking a Vice President of Operations (VPO) to join our Corporate Operations Leadership Team! The VPO provides leadership to executive Directors and Regional Staff through motivating, directing, and supporting operating plans relating to quality care, employee relations, revenue enhancement, and business results. The VPO has the authority, responsibility, and accountability for the overall operations and financial success of the communities in their assigned region. This role involves developing operational strategies for new and existing communities and assisting community leadership with the implementation of company-wide programs and initiatives to meet objectives and goals. The VPO also serves as a Corporate Strategist and is responsible for analyzing company reports to provide insights and strategy for executive leadership. Collaboration with the COO and executive leadership team on strategy development and execution is crucial to grow occupancy and ensure sound business operations in a scalable and sustainable manner that meets the future needs of our organization. The VPO oversees the Regional Director of Operations and provides support and feedback, fostering a sense of ownership and accountability for delivering results through agency and empowerment. This position focuses on building a culture of agency and self-accountability by reinventing the way success is measured and providing an environment of continual learning and teaching. The VPO understands and rewards behaviors that correlate with financial profit and loss results, leveraging, optimizing, and growing the organization's resources efficiently to deliver on our strategy and drive the best outcomes. The VPO is tasked with creating and delivering a best-in-class operational model, including change alignment and management strategies that enable teams to absorb and execute change successfully. Evaluating and optimizing operational oversight support to maximize efficiency across multi-site locations is essential. The VPO provides “in the field” leadership by fostering an atmosphere of transparency, collaboration, respect, and accountability that inspires teams to perform at their best. Additionally, the VPO drives operational standardization and scalability initiatives across multiple locations, leveraging best practices and implementing standardized processes. Developing and executing strategic initiatives to reposition and revitalize existing communities, including product redesign, go-to-market strategies, and lease-up efforts, is a key responsibility. Oversight of the sales function and the development, implementation, and sustainability of sales strategies to maximize revenue potential throughout the portfolio are also critical components of this role. Building and maintaining strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders is vital, serving as a trusted advocate and ambassador for our communities. The VPO must stay current on all trends affecting the senior living industry, including supply and demand changes, competition, and trends that could impact current and future performance.
