About the position

The Vice President of Operations at Recruiterie in Greeley, CO, is responsible for overseeing and executing all areas of business operations and administration. This includes business development, marketing, sales, and exam development. The role is pivotal in implementing a five-year business plan aimed at significantly increasing revenues. The VP will serve as a key liaison between staff and the Board of Directors, assisting in setting and driving the organizational vision and operational strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute all areas of business operations and administration.
  • Assist in the development of the organization's short- and long-term strategies.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for the organization.
  • Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth.
  • Determine appropriate staffing levels and work with HR to recruit and hire new staff.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop an existing team of 3 individuals.
  • Prepare plans, reports, and proposals for the Board of Directors and Executive Team.
  • Leverage financial and operational metrics to drive organizational decisions.
  • Forecast future operational, financial, staffing, and technological needs.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget.
  • Oversee business development, marketing, and sales activities.
  • Advise the CEO and Board on future business opportunities and strategies.
  • Supervise grading activities and review graders' comments and essays as necessary.
  • Interact with regulatory agencies and cultivate professional relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, or related field.
  • Master's degree in management, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience managing operations or administration.
  • Experience in governmental or regulatory organizations is preferred.
  • Experience in advanced business planning, data analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver complex project proposals to the Board of Directors.
  • General knowledge of regulatory/licensing professions and their disciplinary agencies is preferred.
  • Strong preference for experience across multiple functions such as HR, finance, marketing, and sales.
  • Valid Colorado driver's license and acceptable driving record.
