About the position

The Vice President of Operations at Envision Utah is a strategic leadership role focused on managing the organization's operations to achieve its mission. This position involves collaborating with the CEO and management team to implement the strategic five-year plan, enhance employee culture, and oversee financial processes. The ideal candidate will be a mission-driven leader with a strong background in operations management and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement strategies and processes to execute the strategic five-year plan in partnership with the CEO and management team.
  • Lead the performance management process to measure and evaluate organizational progress against goals.
  • Oversee the development of personnel, providing strong day-to-day leadership.
  • Develop goals, metrics, and evaluation tools and processes for the organization.
  • Cultivate the values of Envision Utah within the organization.
  • Upgrade human resources functions including recruiting, onboarding, professional development, and succession planning.
  • Elevate employee culture and address employee concerns as the point of contact.
  • Oversee financial and accounting processes, including employee benefits, budgeting, and accounting.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, Development Director, and management team to ensure adequate funding for programs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing operations within an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and build capabilities in a diverse team.
  • Track record of creating processes that generate results.
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Exceptional capacity for managing and leading people, with a focus on team building and accountability.
  • Thorough understanding of finance, information systems, and human resources.
  • An undergraduate degree is required; an MBA or similar advanced degree is highly desired.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $130,000-170,000
