The Vice President of Operations at Lester E. Cox Medical Centers is responsible for overseeing Surgical Services, Laboratory Services, and Respiratory Therapy departments. Responsibilities

• Oversee Surgical Services, Laboratory Services, and Respiratory Therapy departments.
• Develop and implement overall department strategy including growth and team development.
• Engage with providers and staff to enhance operational performance.
• Manage financial performance and budget planning for the departments.
• Contract with vendors and physicians for service delivery.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between CoxHealth Hospitals, Cox Medical Group, IT, Finance, Nursing, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years' leadership experience.
• Ability to work effectively with staff, public, and external agencies.
• Strong initiative and good judgment in decision-making.
• Proficient in problem solving, critical thinking, conflict management, negotiation, and personnel development.
