About the position

The Vice President of Operations at Hissong Group, Incorporated is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing operational activities to ensure efficient operations and cost-effective systems for the dealerships. This role focuses on employee retention, vendor relations, customer relations, and sales growth/profitability across departments, utilizing sound business management practices to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the operations division.
• Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while providing expertise on operations projects and systems.
• Works with other divisions and departments to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
• Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve organizational efficiency.
• Ensures departmental decisions align with the organization's business plan and vision.
• Establishes and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures.
• Reviews and approves cost control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.
• Administers the department's approved budget and presents performance reports to leadership.
• Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
• Oversees sales and profitability of the Division and its departments.
• Plans divisional operations for the upcoming year and submits business plans and budgets to the CFO.
• Interacts with the CFO to review forecasts, operating metrics, and financial statements.
• Meets with Branch Managers to develop monthly and annual goals and objectives.
• Monitors daily operating control and recommends improvements as necessary.
• Holds regular meetings with Branch Managers to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
• Monitors the company's image with customers and takes corrective action when necessary.
