About the position

The Vice President of Operations at Triple H Food Processors LLC is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the conversion of a hot-fill plant to a facility capable of both hot and cold fill processes. This position is crucial for integrating cold fill technology while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with food safety standards. The VP will lead a high-performing operations team and collaborate with various departments to optimize production efficiency and maintain product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the transition from a hot-fill-only facility to a dual hot and cold fill plant.
  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, quality, and plant teams to design and implement cold fill systems.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of cold fill equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements for cold fill processes.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance for the setup of cold fill processes, including equipment selection and system integration.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize both hot and cold fill lines for efficiency, quality control, and production scalability.
  • Evaluate and improve current operational workflows to incorporate cold fill capabilities while maintaining optimal hot fill performance.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance overall production efficiency, including minimizing downtime and waste during the transition.
  • Partner with R&D, quality, and safety teams to ensure product formulations meet cold fill requirements.
  • Coordinate with procurement to source and implement materials compatible with both hot and cold fill processes.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure product quality and safety standards are met for both hot and cold fill products.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering technical expertise and ensuring training on new cold fill systems.
  • Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the operations team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of operational leadership in food and beverage manufacturing, with expertise in both hot and cold fill processes.
  • Deep understanding of cold fill technology and its application in the food and beverage industry.
  • Experience with process design, equipment installation, and validation for cold fill lines.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, FSMA, GMP) and their application to both hot and cold fill processes.
  • Proven track record of leading operational teams through significant technical transitions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
