About the position

The Vice President of Operations at Calvary Robotics is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations related to the design, build, and development of custom automation solutions. This position plays a critical role in integrating various functions such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Quality, and Extended Services, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The VP of Operations will set improvement targets across departments and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead all operations functions and strategy to support innovation and growth initiatives.
• Contribute with the Executive Leadership Team to understand trends, potential future opportunities, and challenges.
• Lead the PMO and participate in project status meetings to review schedules, customer satisfaction, and financial performance, providing guidance on action and risk mitigation plans.
• Communicate key analytics to identify issues, foster decision making, and drive accountability.
• Act as an integration point and cross-over manager for all operational disciplines while liaising with Executive level peers to set and deliver on overall strategy.
• Motivate and manage a direct team of operations leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, business, or related field.
• 10 to 15 years' experience in an operational management role, particularly in sourcing and manufacturing large project-oriented systems.
• Experience managing highly complex, long-term projects in high-risk situations.
• Financial acumen, with experience in budget analysis and managing operational budgets.
• Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability.
• Solid communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
