Crane Services, Inc. (CSI) is seeking an experienced and driven Vice President of Operations to lead operations across multiple branches, including El Paso, Albuquerque, Amarillo, Sweetwater, Denver, and an upcoming Midwest branch. The ideal candidate will provide a culture of safety, leadership, operational excellence, lean methodology, and drive company growth while upholding our commitment to the energy sector, particularly within renewable energy and the taxi services market. The Vice President of Operations will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company maintains its position as a leader in the crane, rigging, and heavy haul industry, which is characterized by its reliability, capability, and integrity. In this role, the Vice President will lead and manage day-to-day operations across all branches, ensuring alignment with company goals. This includes securing a sub 1.0 Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) and driving team member engagement through mid-level leadership. The successful candidate will standardize best practices across all branches by developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for optimizing operations. They will oversee project execution, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with all regulatory standards, while also driving operational performance improvement by analyzing data, developing strategies, and implementing best practices. The Vice President will mentor and develop branch managers and other leaders using a servant leadership approach, holding teams accountable for achieving operational goals and KPIs, while fostering a culture of responsibility and high performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and safety, will be essential to ensure seamless project execution. Regular site visits across multiple states will be necessary to ensure continuous operational excellence. Additionally, the Vice President will monitor and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising safety or service quality, and lead expansion efforts for the upcoming Midwest branch, ensuring successful market entry. Strategic plans for continuous growth and improvement, particularly in the renewable wind energy sector, will also be a key focus of this role.
