About the position

The Vice President of Operations is a pivotal role responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic vision and planning of a branch within the organization. This position requires a dynamic leader who can assist with the day-to-day management and leadership of the branch, ensuring that the appropriate image is presented to the public while also managing both short- and long-range goals effectively. The Vice President will oversee branches of varying sizes and structures, which means that specific duties and responsibilities may differ based on the branch's unique needs and operational framework. In this role, the Vice President will directly supervise branch-level management, providing guidance and support to ensure that all operational aspects are running smoothly. This includes assisting with budget preparation, fiscal management, and maintaining the financial health of the branch. The Vice President will also be responsible for providing leadership and oversight in general operations, monitoring the performance of overarching goals and initiatives, and establishing positive relationships with stakeholders and vendors at the branch level. Additionally, the Vice President will assist in managing strategic planning, business development, and fiscal operations, while also being open to other duties as assigned. This position is crucial for driving the success of the branch and requires a leader who is not only knowledgeable in operations but also skilled in fostering relationships and managing diverse teams. The Vice President will play a key role in shaping the future of the branch and ensuring that it meets its operational and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision and planning of the branch.
  • Assist with day-to-day leadership and management of the branch.
  • Present the appropriate image to the public.
  • Manage short- and long-range goals of the branch.
  • Oversee branch-level management and provide direct supervision.
  • Assist with budget preparation and fiscal management.
  • Monitor performance of overarching goals and initiatives for the branch.
  • Establish positive relationships with stakeholders and vendors at the branch level.
  • Assist with management of strategic planning and business development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of GAAP at a proficient level.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Expert knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.).
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in all duties.
  • Strong time management and time-critical prioritization skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Master of Business Administration Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of directly related or closely related experience.
  • 7 - 10 years of management and/or supervisory experience.
  • 7 - 10 years of community association experience.
