About the position

The Vice President of Operations at RPM Living is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of Regional Vice Presidents. This position focuses on providing strategic and tactical leadership to enhance operational performance, develop new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders while achieving financial objectives aligned with corporate goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of up to four Regional Vice Presidents.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard candidates for Regional Vice President positions.
• Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings for coaching, conflict resolution, and performance reviews.
• Manage HR issues and ensure team alignment with business objectives.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with owners and clients.
• Provide ethical leadership and ensure high standards of conduct across the multifamily platform.
• Monitor financial performance and provide analysis to support initiatives.
• Utilize technology solutions to extract performance analytics and identify new opportunities.
• Oversee monthly financial reviews and ensure properties meet budget goals.
• Identify and implement new business opportunities to increase revenue potential.

Requirements

• 10+ years of multifamily property management leadership experience.
• Proven track record of success in leading and mentoring teams.
• Strong background in managing diverse types of multifamily communities.
• Significant P&L responsibility and financial management experience.
• Advanced proficiency in managing large and complex multifamily portfolios.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with business development and client management.
• Knowledge of risk management policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with technology solutions for performance monitoring.
